Catch Asha Gill on Channel News Asia’s ” Future Forward”, as she talks to thought leaders and helps to break down world issue into bite-sized chunks, so that we can all understand better the world we live in.
Of Indian and English heritage, Asha started modeling after her studies in the UK and lent her face to brands like Sony, L’Oreal and Lipton Tea.
Asha moved to Hong Kong for many years, where she became the face of Chanel V International. She also had her own flagship shows, including Asha Meets and By Demand, earning her the reputation of having a unique and thorough interview style.
This caught the eye of Singaporean producers who then invited her to Singapore to host The Weakest Link.
Based in Malaysia for many years now, Asha also hosted Lonely Planet’s Six Degrees, a people –centric travel show. She went on to join MIX.FM an adult contemporary radio station, as well as started her monthly column for women’s lifestyle magazine Vidal.
Deejay, Veejay, Writer, Producer, Film Director, Women’s rights activist, Television Host- are just some of the many hats Asha wear.
